One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in NYC. Try the Goi Du Du (papaya and pig ear salad) for something exotic, the staple Bun Cha Hanoi, the nems (fried spring rolls) or Goi Cuon (summer rolls). You can’t go wrong either with their delicious Pho Dac Biet with bone marrow on the side, or the Classic Hanoi Style. For a side, the Rau Muong (morning glory) are a treat. This is truly a special Vietnamese cuisine restaurant and great spot in the East Village. Eat at the bar and try their fine cocktail selection, inside or on their outdoor patio for a great evening or brunch / lunch in the Village.

In the winter go for the amazing Kui Teiw Reua (Boat noodle soup, beef & beef ball, Chinese broccoli) or the Khao Moo Palo (5 spice braised pork, egg, tofu, Chinese broccoli over rice)and for a splurge, the equally delicious Pla Rad Prik (Fried whole dorade royale with chili garlic tamarind sauce).

A welcomed and refreshing good Vietnamese spot on the upper west side. Try the Hanoi Chicken salad, the Nems (fried spring roll), Summer Rolls, the Bun Cha, and of course their speciality of Banh Cuon (only on weekends). The Banh Chung are not for the faint of heart, a pretty heavy dish, but they are very good and don’t come around often in restaurants. A special occasion treat. The Pho and Banh Mi’s are equally great too!
