Storm King Art Center is an outdoor museum in the Hudson Valley, and the magic of the experience is worth getting out there as soon as you can. Roaming among large-scale sculptures under the open sky feels like the perfect answer to our strange times. Pack up a picnic, a blanket and spend a day in the hilly meadows of Storm King walking around eyes wild open and mended soul.

If you go there by car, there is only limited parking, hence entries for the day. There is a long wait for cars to get in and run the risk to be turned away. They have an off site parking by the train station, with bus shuttles running both ways across every 10 minutes or so, in case. This parking is however more expensive then the regular entry and if you don’t care for riding the bus, the walk would be an hour to the art center. So even if this visit was a last minute turn off the highway, do purchase your tickets to Storm King in advance using your phone here
